“I love being in our office…there is a lot of laughter, joking and awesome sense of camaraderie. Our group really enjoys one another, and we love letting the patients in on the fun. The best thing is when a laugh erupts in one corner of the office and you can hear it spreading down the hall.”

Meet The Doctor
Smiling comes easy for Dr. Thomas M. Mulroy, who has transformed thousands of smiles for his patients. Driven by his enthusiastic love of his craft, Dr. Mulroy keenly balances esthetics, technology and function into his cosmetic dentistry practice.
After graduating Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006 Dr. Mulroy served the first years of his dental career as a captain in the US Army and completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Ft. Jackson, SC. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, Worcester District Dental Society, and the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Mulroy and his wife live in Holden, and have three rambunctious young boys and one sweet little girl. As a family they love to bike the Rail Trail and horse around in the backyard. In his free time he loves to ski, snowmobile, or tow his old boat to discover new locations all over New England.
Meet Our Hygienists
Alison graduated from Framingham State University with her B.S. in Biology in 2006, and received her Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. She firmly believes the sooner we can convince our youth of the benefits of good oral hygiene the sooner we may see a decrease in the most chronic childhood disease- tooth decay. Good habits start young! Many consider her soft voice and gentle touch to be comforting. Like the rest of the team at Mulroy Family Dental, she truly cares. She loves that our office is focused on knowing each of our patients personally and providing them the time and attention to detail they deserve.
Alison resides in Holden with her husband and two beautiful children. They enjoy all kinds of active pursuits including cycling, hiking and traveling.
Dorothy has earned her place as one of the most trusted dental care providers in our community. She and her husband have lived in Holden for over 30 years, invested in our community sports and schools as they raised their oldest daughter as well as quadruplets! She truly cares about the families she sees, and loves following the growth in them over the years. Dental anxiety is quickly forgotten as she makes dental appointments breeze by with her upbeat attitude and easy comraderie… not only with the people she has known for years, but those who are new to her as well. Dorothy graduated from Northeastern University with her Associate of Science in 1980, and was awarded her Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene the same year. She strongly believes in the value of routine hygiene care; with consistent treatment patients can experience easier appointments, outstanding smiles, and less overall expense. Our office depends on her broad scope of knowledge and discerning eye.
Caitlin started her career in the dental field right after high school and received her certificate as a dental assistant from Quinsigamond Community College in 2011. In 2013 she received her A.S. in Allied Dental Health Sciences and in 2016 her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Mount Wachusett Community College. Currently, Caitlin is attending Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for her Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She believes in evidence-based dentistry including staying up to date with new research on different products and procedures to improve oral health for her patients. A calm atmosphere puts her patients at ease and Caitlin loves getting to know all her patients comfort levels, likes and dislikes, and settings to make their appointment the most relaxing it can be!
